General overview
A three-week course in Tokyo that includes ten days of manga lessons with professional artists and teachers, guided visits and tours.
Three weeks in Tokyo
The programme includes 10 days of in-depth classes held in collaboration with leading manga and animation academies and Japanese professionals, additional meetings and seminars, orientation in Tokyo, short out-of-town trips, visits to Tokyo’s most characteristic spots, and some free time as well.
Manga courses
Courses with Japanese teachers and professionals begin on the third or fourth day and are structured in 3-hour teaching sessions that take place in the morning, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., or in the afternoon, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., for a total of 30 hours.
Discovering Japan
On days when there are neither classes nor other events, the academy staff takes the time to go on short trips just outside the city or to visits to museums and places of interest in Tokyo. Students are informed of the programme in advance and decide whether to join or not.
